Cook’s Kitchen

Our Cooks’ Kitchen activity is designed to encourage a small group, six to 8 SIRs to share a wholesome lunch while discussing both important and mundane issues of the day. The group meets monthly, usually the first Tuesday after the monthly branch meeting, but we are flexible to adjust to members personal schedules. A gathering usually lasts 3 – 3.5 hours. (Group size is limited by the seating capacity of the smallest dining table among the group’s members.)

Each month, on a rotating basis, a SIR opens his home to the group and prepares and serves a casual lunch. The activity begins with a social hour, usually with drinks & appetizers followed by a casual lunch. The group discusses recent or planned events in their lives, in the branch, or around the world.

Recent Entrées: Grilled Salmon Filets, Home Smoked BBQ Sandwiches, Fish Chowder
