There are 2 menu choices as listed below.
REGULAR $27: Deli Buffet Meal: Sliced Turkey; Ham; and Roast Beef. Mixed California green salad with red onions; tomatoes; and cucumbers w/choice of dressings. Assorted cheeses and bread.
VEGETARIAN $28: Pasta Primavera (Zucchini, squash, cherry tomatoes, onions, with white cream sauce)
All regular lunch entrees are served with warm sourdough roll and butter, brewed tea and coffee.

Author Helena Kanderka will discuss the little-known yet fascinating history of Ukraine and how it contributes to the situation there today. Her talk is part of a longer program she has presented to the Sacramento State Renaissance Society. Helena became interested in Central Europe while researching her family’s history. All four of her grandparents were born in Slovakia. Amazed at what she found, she ended up writing a novel called Slovakland. It follows a Slovak family from around 700 to 1904, when they emigrate to the US. Helena traveled to eastern Slovakia last summer. She met with a refugee couple who provided interesting insight on the situation today.
